What is this?

A meaning crisis is a term used to describe a situation in which a particular individual or group feels disconnected to the world and unable to find direction in life. This state can manifest itself in feelings of stagnation, apathy, lethargy, and despair, leading to a lack of meaningfulness in day-to-day existence. Ultimately, a meaning crisis leads to a breakdown in an individual’s ability to find significance in life, resulting in a disconnection to one’s true self and a dwindling sense of purpose.
